Sapphire French Butter Cloche

Have butter that's all that and a bag of chips (or should we say a croissant) with our Sapphire French Butter Cloche. Indulge in the luxury of always available soft, fresh butter. Made in the ancient French tradition, it ensures that your butter stays in perfectly spreadable and sweet. Your bread will thank you.

Directions for use: Simply press slightly softened butter into the upper cup and add about a 1/4 - 1/2 "half inch of water to the lower vessel. The water does not need to touch the butter; it simply must cover the rim of the cup. The water creates an air-tight seal protecting the butter from spoiling. Leave your cloche on the counter unless you plan to be away more than a week or two.

Change the water when you notice it needs it or at least once a week. Wash as needed. Refill 6-7 times before thoroughly cleaning. (The residual butter will eventually begin to spoil; your dish will tell you when it needs a good washing!)

Dishwasher safe - and recommended from time to time!
